Today its the age of the metro sexual man who is as concerned about their appearances as with any other aspect of their lives. Of course what has helped men in this change of attitude is that in general it is not considered unmanly anymore if anyone is concerned about their appearances. What drew men away from plastic surgery earlier was the amount of talk regarding cosmetic surgery being only a womans domain. Men who were more open about their plastic surgery procedures were often ridiculed or mocked. Of course men do not have to worry about that anymore as it does not matter if you are one of the new breed of metro sexual men or are more traditional in your outlook, cosmetic enhancements are now looked upon as a more common occurrence and does not get people talking the way it used to before. In fact the entire industry has grown so much that it is no longer meant for a select few. Cosmetic surgeries are open to all from all walks of life and background.
Plastic surgery procedures whether surgical or non surgical have become so popular with men that now many surgeons have started to create special packages for men only. As a matter of fact, certain plastic surgeons are going out of their way to attract men with special offers and consulting services meant to show men how surgeries keeping in mind their specific needs are more beneficial than going for general cosmetic enhancements.
Industry watchers believe that this is just the beginning and already cosmetic surgeries performed on men have almost caught up with surgeries performed on women each year. It wont be long now before both men and women will undergo equal number of cosmetic enhancements every year.
