Comoros is an archipelago island nation that's found on the Indian Ocean. It's located off the eastern coast of Africa, on the northern end of the Mozambique Channel. Some of her neighbors include Tanzania to the northwest and Seychelles to the northeast. The capital is called Moroni on area named Grande Comore. The island is the third smallest African nation by area and covers an area of 1,862 km2. It's also the sixth smallest African nation by population and has a population of roughly 800, 000.

Comoros nation consist of four main islands and other smaller ones. They are on the northwestern part that includes Grande Comore, Moheli and Anjouan. The south eastern part of the country shelters the Mayotte and other smaller islands. These islands attract a lot of tourists from Europe and Africa as well. The islands were formed by a volcanic activity. There is a mountain called Mount Karthala that is still an active volcano and it rises up to 7,748 ft. It harbors the country rainforest.

Comoros is the not one of Africa's best performing nations but the tourism sector is improving steadily. The country welcomes a lot of visitors to the islands to enjoy the wonderful beaches and hotels on the islands shorelines. Fishing and agriculture are the other fields that the country relies on to boost the economy. The most common language of communication is Kiswahili and the dominant religion is Islam. Visitors will enjoy boat rides throughout the islands and activities like swimming and surfing in the cool beaches.
