Sugarland One Of The Top Contemporary Country Bands

The good news about the fans of Sugarland is that The Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion will host Sugarland on their Incredible Machine Tour on Sunday as part of the Eastern Propane Concert Series. This show is sold out, which makes that the second time in two years for Sugarland! Last year, Sugarland broke the record for attendance at the Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion selling out months in advance. In the year of 2004, the duo released their single, "Baby Girl." In 2005, they performed for CMT's Crossroads with Bon Jovi singing their hit, "Who Says You Can't Go Home," which reached #1 on the charts. This new tour is a thrill for me," said Jennifer Nettles. "Don't come if you expect to sit on your butt the whole show. You won't be able to. It's a whole new musical, emotional, visual, fun, incredible, experience machine." Joining Sugarland on Sunday will be Ellis Paul, a New England songwriter and Boston School of Songwriting alumni who met Kristian Bush at a Georgia nightclub. They have formed a longtime friendship and musical appreciation. Ellis' album, "The Day After Everything Changed," has five songs co-written by Kristian Bush. As Bush once said, "Ellis has a voice that is so powerful, you know who it is the second he comes through your radio."

It all began in Atlanta, Ga. as the brainchild of singer-songwriter Kristen Hall and folk-rocker Kristian Bush.
