It can be walked in a week or over a series of a few days.

Fishing in Dartmoor
Devon is perfectly situated to enjoy fishing, whether you wish to stay around the rivers of Dartmoor or venture further to the South coast.
Trenchford Reservoir: Is managed by South West Lakes Trust and is located near Bovey Tracey. It offers excellent Pike fishing with fish up to 30lb. Boats for angling are available.
The River Exe: Best known for its salmon fishing. The river is only available to salmon fishermen; however, some parts of the river are accessible.
River Teign: The Upper Teign Fishing Association has the rights to fish on many miles of the upper reaches of the River Teign. Sea trout fishing is best in spring and summer and fly fishing for wild brown trout can be enjoyed at anytime in the season.

Babeny Riding Stables: The Wilkinson family maintain a long history of horses and horsemanship including national hunt racing and hunting point-to-pointing on Arab Stud, Dartmoor Ponies, a livery and hacking yard established over a half century.
Shilstone Rocks: Shilstone Rocks Riding Centre is a family business established in 1962. It is a famous prize winning stud with many horses, mares and foals to be seen. It's British Horse Society Approved and has the Local Authority Licence.
