Well I have some good news and bad news if you're looking into how to lose weight in your hips. The good news is that its definitely possible, and I even have a little secret I'll talk about a bit at the end of this article.

The bad news is that you can't really target just one part of your body, but instead by losing weight everywhere you will also lose weight around your hips. So while exercise and sleep are great and we all know that we should get them, the most important thing to learn how to lose weight around your hips is how to have a good diet.

Basically, this means eating a LOT more fruits and veggies. The more, the better. In fact if you can eat them every meal, do it! The reason for this is because they're very high in nutrients and make you feel full, but are low in calories.

So even though they'll make you feel full, you would have eaten only a fraction of the calories compared to a normal American meal of meat and bread/potatoes. Now it doesn't really matter what ones you eat, but try to eat a wide variety if possible. This way your body is getting a wider variety of vitamins and minerals that it needs.

That said, there are a few super foods you might want to make a staple.

Bananas- high in potassium, protein, natural sugars (which give you more energy), help your bowel's health, and even make you happier! Yup, they actually have a chemical that's been shown to make you more relaxed and feel happier.

Broccoli- this stuff has a ton of vitamin C, vitamin A, fiber, calcium, and folic acid. It is also a cruciferous vegetable, which has been found to lower your rate of cancer. But really the fiber is what is important here, because it will help you be more regular and help you feel full- key in the battle to lose weight around your hips!

Spinach- this stuff pretty much has more vitamins and minerals than you can count! Its by far one of the most nutrient-rich foods you can eat, and I mention it here also because that will help you lose weight in your hips. There are actually a lot more, but that's just a short list to help get you started! But hopefully you get my point- that there are a lot of veggies and fruits that are superfoods because of how healthy they are.
