subject: How to Lose Weight in a Month [print this page]

Are you mentally ready to lose weight in a month? Because to be honest, a LOT of it is mental!

In fact, if you don't set any weight loss goals, then you won't lose nearly as much weight as you want. I promise!

So what do you have to do to lose more weight in a month? Try applying these tips (besides setting goals):

1) Change up your diet. Eat 1,000 calories one day, then 2,500 the next day, etc. That way you keep your body guessing, and on the days you eat less calories your metabolism will burn off more than you take in.

2) Do some FUN exercise! If it isn't very much fun, you aren't going to keep doing it are you? So find something fun to do. Try dancing, sports, martial arts, biking, hiking, etc.

3) Find a workout buddy! That way you have someone to talk to, and it makes exercise a LOT more fun. This can be a friend, spouse, child, parent, or even a dog (for running, that is.)

4) Enjoy the fresh air. Sitting on your rear end watching TV all night is doing NOTHING to help you lose weight in a month! Instead get outside and go for a walk, play with the kids, etc.

5) Take a chill pill. If you're stressed, you won't be able to lose extra weight NEARLY as fast.

6) Get more sleep. This is a little secret that bodybuilders have. If you don't get enough sleep, your body can't lose weight as fast!
