Of course, the thought of spending Christmas Day away from loved ones can be enough to persuade people to brave it out for a day. But it's still possible to hit the highway on Boxing Day and head for a restful four or five day vacation at any number of hotel resorts nearby, with Jacuzzis and spa treatments providing the perfect remedy to the trials and tribulations the year has brought.
