subject: FTS Antennas for Command Destruct Links at Missile Ranges [print this page]
This image shows a flight termination system antenna from Antenna Experts, an FTS antenna manufacturer in India working with missile range requirements. Flight termination systems rely on command-destruct links, so the antenna matters as much as the transmitter behind it. The 370-550 MHz band is covered, with omni and directional versions available, which lets range teams match the radiation pattern to the layout of the site and the link they need to protect during a launch.
