subject: How Can I Read a PST File When Outlook Is Not Installed? [print this page]
I have some Outlook PST files that I need to check, but Microsoft Outlook is not installed on the computer I am using. I mainly want to view the emails, attachments, and other data stored inside the PST file without setting up Outlook. For a small PST file, I understand that using Outlook is the usual option. However, when Outlook is unavailable, a dedicated PST viewer can be useful. I came across SysTools PST Viewer Tool, which allows users to add PST files to the software panel, browse PST data, preview emails with attachments, and search for specific PST data items. It also supports browsing Outlook BAK files and provides an option to export PST data to PDF for personal use. Has anyone here used a PST viewer to access PST files without Outlook? I would be interested to know how well it works with large PST files and how easy it is to search and preview email data.
