Parents Should Not Delay The Potty Training Of Their Child

Before starting the potty training for your child you must look forward to various sources giving information and tips regarding this process. Some of the sources are parenting magazines, grandparents, friends and professionals. There are number of methods and range of advice to make this task easier. The first and foremost need is to select a program that is suitable for you and your child. If you are having two child then it is not mandatory that one technique will work for both. It is also possible that you have to use one program for one child and an entirely different program for another child.

In most of the cases some parents do not want to train their child before he /she crosses the age of two. They wait for the time when their child speak up the words associated with toilet activities.

On the other hand some children may train easily at this age and some create problem as when a child turns two they want to do everything they like to do.When You will say "It's time to go potty" then they usually refuse because it wasn't their wish to perform this activity in this manner. One more thing that will panic the trainer that child may start crying till he gets his wish accomplished.

As the child grows up slowly he indulges in many activities so it becomes difficult to convince them to sit on the potty for a long time. A child may start playing rather than taking the time to stop and use the potty.

One of the major disadvantage of late potty training is that generally pre-schools admit the children who is absolutely trained for potty. Due to this delay child may not be admitted in the kindergarten on time which is ultimately a drawback for his whole educational career.

Parents can make out the signs of their child associated with toilet activities so that they are the only person who can contribute a lot for training a child for potty. So parents should beware and do not delay the potty training of their child.
