To be honest, my recent flight with Virgin Atlantic GDL Terminal was one of the easiest and most enjoyable international departures I've ever had. Once past all of that, the terminal itself was clean and comfortable, with plenty of seating, a few decent food options, and charging ports throughout the waiting areas. Even though this airport isn’t huge, it felt modern and well-run. I was especially impressed with how calm everything felt — no loud crowds or chaotic lines, which made it easy to relax before the flight. When it was time to board, the Virgin Atlantic staff at the gate were helpful and kept the process orderly, calling passengers in groups and helping those with small children or accessibility needs. Boarding was on time, and the transition onto the aircraft felt seamless. I’ve flown out of larger international airports that felt overwhelming and impersonal, but this was a completely different experience — smooth, welcoming, and surprisingly efficient. Virgin Atlantic offered their usual high level of service, but the real surprise was how well Guadalajara’s airport supported that experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to fly this route again, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a less stressful way to begin a long-haul international journey.
