To be honest, it was one of the nicest airport experiences I've had in a long time to fly out of JetBlue at JFK Terminal. I was immediately struck by the air's brightness, cleanliness, and unexpected calmness for such a crowded airport. I went through security much more quickly than I had anticipated, and check-in was easy and quick, especially with the self-service kiosks. Everything feels a little less stressful than the usual airport rush thanks to the terminal's open, contemporary design and roomy, user-friendly layout. Near my gate, I discovered lots of seating, and practically all of them had charging ports, which is really convenient when you're trying to work or stay connected. The free Wi-Fi was strong and consistent, which helped me catch up on emails before boarding. One of the highlights for me was the food—there are actually good options, not just fast food. I grabbed a slice from Artichoke Pizza and a coffee from Blue Bottle, and it felt like a mini taste of NYC without even leaving the terminal. Even though there was some construction going on because of the terminal’s ongoing upgrade, it didn’t interfere with the overall vibe or functionality. In fact, I’m excited to see what the future holds once the new lounges and refreshed areas open up. It’s nice to see an airline putting effort into the passenger experience beyond just the flight itself. JetBlue has done a great job making T5 feel less like a typical airport terminal and more like a well-designed, traveler-friendly space. I wouldn’t hesitate to fly out of here again, and honestly, I’d even choose JetBlue at Terminal JFK just to avoid the hassle of other terminals. T5 definitely raised the bar for what an airport experience can be.
