subject: Liver Cleansing Diet - Following A Diet For Fatty Liver [print this page]

I've been going through fatty liver disease (Hepatic Steatosis) for 3 years already, and one of the suggestions of the doctors and nurses was to strictly comply with a diet for fatty liver. I had been experiencing abdominal pain, but I ignored it as something typical. But when it was getting worse, I knew I had to get myself checked and learned about my condition.

According to my nurse, it's important to follow a strict diet for fatty liver if I really wanted to improve my conditions. When I searched on a sample planned diet for fatty liver, I couldn't find one that was truly gratifying. Lately, I asked her again for advice and she happily recommended me an e-book by a nurse named Dorothy Spencer. The book is entitled "Eliminating Hepatic Fat: The Fatty Liver Diet Guide and Factbook". I was surprised instantly that there was already an e-book committed to following a diet for fatty liver.

What excited me, needless to say, were Chapters 8 to 11, which really focused on the diet for fatty liver disease. These chapters discussed the important vitamins and minerals in reversing fatty liver, the essential food groups, the suggested treatment (exercise and diet), and a specific planned diet for fatty liver illness.

Chapter 11, Every day Diets, provides a complete guide on the diet for fatty liver disease. Nurse Dorothy recommends that a diet for fatty liver disease should consist of food with low fat content (no saturated fat), high fiber, and complex carbohydrates. I particularly loved the numerous recipes and the weekly menu that I easily followed.

I noticed that after several months, I was feeling better. When I needed to undergo my routine check-up, they found out that my laboratory results were better when compared with last year. I believe it was truly due to the proper exercise and the diet for fatty liver that I faithfully followed.
