subject: 5 Ways To Lose Weight Quickly [print this page]

Losing weight is not as easy as it may sound, anyone that has had weight problems will verify this. There are however ways you can use to aidwith any weight loss program. If you follow the 5 tips shown below, these 5 ways to lose weight quickly should be of use to you.

1 Target

You must have a goal weight that you need to reach. Write it down and read it each morning. This will help to keep you fixed on your aims.

2 Exercise

You have to follow an exercise program as this will help to burn calories faster, and the added bonus is it will help speed up your metabolism. Exercising does not have to involve jogging for 5 miles every day or spending hours in the gym. The best and simplist exercise to fit in to any schedule is walking. A brisk 30 minute walk each day will help speed up your weight loss goals.

3 Water

You need to drink lots of water; water helps to clean out toxins and it also helps to make you feel full up faster. Drinking a full glass or cup of water before eating will help to make you feel full up and should prevent you from feeling hungry after you have finished eating.

4 Eating

When comsuming meals or any form of food you need to eat it slow. When you have placed some food in your mouth chew it and savour the taste of your food. It will take a while for your brain to tell you that your stomach has had enough food. Eating too quickly is one of the reasons that you may feel as if you have over eaten in the past.

Eating too quick will leave you with a feeling of still being hungry if you are on a weight reduction plan and this could make you to eat more than you would do. The goal is to eat 5 smaller meals each rather than the standard 3 main meals each day.

5 Do not give up

We have all been guilty of having something we should not have had when on a diet, but thats ok, you need to have a treat now and again. In fact most modern weight loss plans include treats in them. Try telling someone that they cannot have a certain food and they are likely to want it even more.

If you do eat something that you should not have you have to recognise that no one is perfect. Do not give up the diet just because you ate something naughty, or you came off the diet for a day. Just get straight back on the program and use that lapse as a learning curve. If you do slip why not have an extra 30 minute walk every other day for the next week.

One of the real reasons why individuals give up on their diets is because they have one bad day. A day of overeating is not going to put back on all those pounds that you have shed over the last few weeks. You need to consume 2,500 calories to put back on 2lbs in weight, and this does not take into account any exercise program you may be on.

Just follow these guide lines and you will begin to notice a significant weight loss.
