The process as to how to get pregnant with a baby girl is not as simple as going inside the department store and picking out a dress you like. If you want to plan your pregnancy by choosing the gender of the baby that you would like to conceive, then you will need to exert some serious amount of effort to do this. Getting pregnant with a baby girl may sound like a really difficult task but as long as you have the proper guidelines on how you can actually do this, you will surely find the whole process a bit easier as compared to just running head on without having any idea.
In here, we will take a look at the science behind the process of how to get pregnant with a baby boy. If you want to be selective on the gender of your baby, then you need to first have a good grasp of the details as to how a particular type of baby is conceived during pregnancy. The gender of a baby is basically dependent or determined by the father. This would be so since the type of sperm cell from a man that will fertilize the egg cell of a woman will dictate the sex of the fetus that will be formed later on during the process. There are two main types of sperm namely those that have X chromosomes and those that have Y chromosomes. Sperm cells that have X chromosomes are often referred to as female sperm because they are the ones responsible for producing baby girls. Sperm cells with a Y chromosome on the other hand are referred to as male sperm cells because they are the ones responsible for producing male fetuses. The egg cell of a woman is constantly composed of an X chromosome. This means that a male fetus is made of an X chromosome and a Y chromosome or an XY combination while a female fetus is composed of two X chromosomes or an XX combination.
Male sperm are distinct from their female counterparts by means of their speed and resistance against an acidic environment. Sperms that cause women to get pregnant with a girl are basically faster than female sperms however; they are equipped with a low amount of resistance against the acidic environment of a woman's reproductive tract. Female sperm cells on the other hand move slowly but they are equipped with a high amount of resistance against the acidic environment of the vagina so they can last for a longer period of time in there. With this given fact, you need to have intercourse with your partner a few days before you hit your ovulation date so that you can prevent the male sperm cells from coming in contact with your egg cell. Having sex 2 to 3 days before your ovulation date will cause the male sperm cells to die out. Aside from having sex a days before your ovulation date, you can also try to do shallow penetration as this will cause the male sperm cells to have a longer distance to travel in order for them to reach the area where your egg cell is. This will also cause them to die out.
