Final Fantasy 14 Gathering Guide - Everything You Need To Know About The Gathering Asepct In FF!4 Online

Are you looking for a quick Final Fantasy 14 gathering guide that you can use to get started with a gathering class in the game? There are a few differences in this game as compared to other games so I'm going to go over the gathering model that they have gone with, as well as a few of the introductory tips that I can give you when starting out with Final Fantasy 14. Let's get into it below

Getting Started With Final Fantasy 14 Gathering

Most other Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games have built in gathering and these types of "skills" into a profession, which doesn't necessarily dictate what your class is. However, in Final Fantasy 14 they are taking that to a whole new level. As of right now there are different classes that are specific to gathering, which means that you can't be two at the same time. Not only does this change the entire play style of the game (since you are now a fisherman, not a warrior who can fish,) you will surely need to change up your tactics when fighting other players as well as take a profession much more seriously than in other games (since it's your actual class, not just an "ability" that you level up)

How to Gather in the Game

As you level up with your class, whether it's fishing or botany or a logger, you will gain abilities that help you to gather other things. For instance, as a fisherman, you have an ability that will detect fish of a certain level school. As you get higher and higher you can detect more and more fish, some from the level 2 schools to level 5 schools, and so forth. As you can imagine, the higher the school is the better the fish - and the more you can do with it to help your character succeed in the game.

Using Gatherers vs. Fighting

Not much is known yet as to how you would use gathering to help you succeed against other players, but I'm supposing that you can level two classes at the same time via switching up your weapons and doing it that way. As you know, in the game, whatever "tool" you have in your hands dictates what class you are.
