Fear As Well As Loathing, The Everyday Life And Times Of An Insurance Agent In Cincinnati

Okay so I guessed this is a appealing title but not realistically such an worthwhile topic. The general belief is that often Insurance is about as much fun as looking at paint dry on the ceiling, and in most circumstances that judgement would definitely be right.

My name is Jack Thomas and I manage an independent insurance agency in Cincinnati. I'm an author, blogger and prolific writer. The honest truth is that I love to write, instruct, and on occasions I display just a bit of dry humor in reference to insurance. (Insurance is bland but it doesn't have to be that way.) Right now I'm working on a book which is going to reveal some nasty little secrets that a number of insurance carriers wouldn't want you to find out about. I'll relate more about that in a future article.

Truth be told insurance is a necessary evil, nonetheless at the same time it is greatly misunderstood. We learn about insurance by watching t . v . advertisements. Carriers tell us we are paying a lot for our auto insurance and they by themselves hold the key to our salvation to reasonably priced auto insurance rates. I call this the Insurance Merry-Go-Round. I'll explain in my next article the exact details about the Insurance Merry-Go-Round.

When people want for car insurance in Cincinnati, they might come across a the same insurance advertising theme that is running in the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana area where our company actively provides insurance.

One insurance company claims they offer 40% discounts, another insurance company tops on another 15%, and still another insurance company tells us that they should save us hundreds, 21st Century Insurance tells us that if you are with two certain insurance companies that you're overpaying by hundreds.

If you were to calculate all of the discounts and the rate savings, your insurance will have to be free right?

Insurance providers really should compensate us to sit through the daily barrages of insurance advertisements we have to put up with as we try to enjoy our evenings, don't you agree?

Car insurancecommercials dominate the tv advertising market in Ohio and they most likely dominate in your area as well.

So why do we see quite a few commercials about insurance? Just because the insurance providers creating those commercials are making money hand over fist! Insurance is big business, and it is highly profitable as well. So just why do you think Warren Buffett acquired Geico? Basically because he's generating so much money he does not think that he is shelling out enough in income taxes! (In spite of the fact that Mr. Buffett's company owes $1 billion in overdue taxes to the federal government.)

So we notice insurance advertisements on television since companies are effective in persuading people to actually purchase their coverage raking in millions, and billions of dollars in new insurance premiums.

Yet is that all there is to insurance? The firm offering the best prices on insurance wins?

Lets look into this a little bit more in my future article termed as the Insurance Merry-Go-Round.
