Get Her Back - Should You Try To Use Facebook To Get Your Ex Girlfriend Back?

Facebook has become such a large chunk of many people's lives, so much so that it even has a pretty big impact on relationships. Sometimes it can be a good impact, and sometimes it is not. Since Facebook is such a big deal, you might be wondering if it would be a good idea to use it to try and win back your ex girlfriend. It certainly seems like an easy and harmless way to reach out to her, right?

While it may seem like a good idea to use Facebook as a way to reach out to your ex girlfriend, many times it is not. For one, most of the communication that you can have with her is really contingent on whether or not she allows it. And all she has to do is make a few clicks and she can easily ignore you. Not only that, since it is really a one way communication tool, it is not the best option at all.

Too Passive of an Approach...

Another key reason why it is not such a good idea is because of the fact that it is really a very passive approach to try and win her back. What's the most that you can do? Write on her wall and hope that she sees it and somehow gets affected in a good way? Or, send her an instant message and pray that she just happens to respond?

While I would certainly not encourage you to be overly aggressive in approaching your ex girlfriend, too passive is not a good thing either. You need to really take the bull by the horns a little bit and sending little messages via a site like Facebook and then sitting back and waiting for some kind of behind the scenes magic to take place is just way too passive.

Face to Face Contact Works Best...

Okay, if you have heard of the no contact rule, then you should know that it is a temporary thing. At some point, you do have to have contact with your ex girlfriend if you are going to get back together. Face to face contact is way more effective than just typing up words on a computer screen and hoping that they somehow touch her.

Attraction usually does not happen just through words, but more in the way that they are presented. And to get the most from your words, then you need to be face to face with your ex girlfriend. Trying to create attraction with her over the broadband modem is not exactly an easy way to make her want you back, especially since so many tenets of attraction are hinged on things like body language, eye contact, and physical touch.
