The 10 Must Have Toys For This Christmas Period Part 2

This is a continuation of a previous list, titled The 10 must have toys for this Christmas period Part 1.

As Christmas nears, toy shelves will begin to empty as children scribble down their must-haves for this Christmas, so lets find out what the kids really want to get their hands on this season.

5. Monster High Lagoona Blue Hydration Station & Doll Playset

Marketed for the girls, this is an unconventional doll that defies whats to be expected of the now popularity-waning Barbie this playset includes the doll version of Lagoona, from popular kids show, Monster High, and a bubbling tank in which she must sleep to re-hydrate herself. Similar to a lava lamp, the station lights up and bubbles, and Lagoona can be removed (as she is not actually submerged) and played with like any other doll.

4. Milky The Bunny

A disgustingly cute and adorable bunny rabbit designed for hugs and snuggles, Milky The Bunny looks like any other cuddly toy; however incorporating interactive technology, Milky is so much more. He laughs and wiggles his feet when theyre tickled, is afraid of loud noises and will even drift off to sleep with quiet snoring noises at least, hes not a furby.

3. Lego Ninjago Fire Temple

Seriously proving that it can survive the test of time, the Lego Ninjago Fire Temple set features a large Japanese temple, a fire dragon, a number of ninja warriors and weapons and other assorted items to encourage children to build and create. Just dont lose the instructions!

2. Leapfrog LeapPad Explorer

Clearly taking advantage of the popularity of the iPad and other interactive tablet, this touchscreen tablet is safe for kids, durable and features a camera and video recorder. The tablet comes with lots of apps based around learning and co-ordination skills and really brings the teaching of kids into the modern age you can even log into the Leapfrog online store and download more apps. At a fraction of the price of an iPad, this is a fantastic item for the technological tot.

1. Doggie Doo Game

Yes, you heard me. After all these technological advancements, touchscreens, lightsabers and ninjas, the winner is a dog that poops. And when he poops, you have to scoop it up! Its a basic roll-the-dice game where the players have to feed the dog and wait for the prize to drop out of the other end, then the player with the most prizes collected on their shovel wins.

Who would have thought that after that impressive line-up, such a simple game would win? Just goes to show that you cannot predict kids except knowing that they will always enjoy immature humour.
