subject: Throw An Unique Bandana Theme Party In Celebration Of A Young Boy Or Girls Birthday [print this page]

A simple party theme that is easy to put together, and very fun to do so, is a bandana theme party. Celebrate the birth of a young boy or girl by throwing a bandana-filled party that children will love.

Bandana Party Invitations

Bandana theme party invitations can be made by printing out a bandana pattern onto card stock and making out the invitation from there.

Bandana Party Supplies & Decorations

Decorating the bandana party with various colored bandana. For a girl, use pink and red bandanas. For a boys theme party, use red and blue or darker colors.

Bandana Banners

To make a bandana banner, use several bandanas fold the bandana corners together over a long piece of rope and tape down the corners. Hanging them from all the corners of the party area will make the decorations festive and fun.

Another variation of a bandana banner is to print out letters of Happy Birthday or a special greeting for party guests on card stock paper. Cut out the letters from the card stock paper and place on separate sheets of bandana card stock paper (or use a photo and word-editing program to place lettering over a bandana pattern and print). After printing out the card stock letters, use a hole puncher to punch the holes in the corners on top and insert string or ribbons to tie them all together.

Clip art can also be used to create a bandana banner for the party. Once printed from card stock paper, cut out bandana in the same shape as the letters and tape down. Just trace out the letters over the bandana using a pen or marker. Remove the lettering and cut out the bandana. Once cut, glue the bandana on top of the card stock lettering. Use a needle and punch holes in the corners of the letters and place string through the holes and tie together.

Wrap bandanas around party hats and tape down securely. and theymake great placemats, as well. Tape bandanas around the table edges to create a table skirt. Fold bandanas in a cone-shape and place various snacks such as candy or popcorn in plastic bags and place on a serving tray on the party food table. Wrap bandanas around cuttery supplies such as forks, knives, and spoons.

With easy availability of red bandanas and other colors, throwing a bandana party is a fun but very simple theme every child and parent will enjoy.
