During the three-day event, the representatives from Paphos will be highlighting Cyprus weddings from their stand where they will have printed and electronic promotional material for visitors.
Paphos is a popular choice for destination weddings in Europe and the south-western coastal town boasts stunning white sand beaches, luxury boutique hotels and delicious traditional cuisine.
With the help of Cyprus Tourism Organisation, the representatives will be attending future wedding-related events in the UK, Russia and Israel over the next year to promote Paphos and Cyprus as a top wedding destination.
Cyprus hotels and officials will be also be hosting journalists from magazines, wedding planners from overseas, and wedding-related travel agents to showcase the islands offerings as a location for couples getting married abroad.
A spokesman commented: "Its hoped that the already popular wedding destination will gain momentum that will translate directly in improving the image of the district and further develop this form of tourism with all the positive effects on the local and nationwide economy."
The beautiful island nation of Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean, situated approximately 50 miles south of Turkey.
