subject: Millionaire Dating Singles: The 4 Ways You Can Do To Make Your Partner More Romantic [print this page]

If our love life was like the movies then we are in a whirlwind full of romance. There will be late night dinners, flowers on your desk, romantic weekend getaways and strolls on the park or the beach. But we have to face reality, not people are born romantic. You'd be lucky if your partner hands you a rose on Valentine's day or at least a card on your anniversary.

What has become of good old romance these days. Have men forgotten how to woo their women? Have women become too tough for the men? We have all whined one way or the other on how our partners aren't romantic enough. But there are some things that you can do to ignite that romantic spark in him.

1. Tease your partner. This goes especially for the males. Since hints don't really work well for men, and their pick up is quite slow- or they are really just avoiding it. Talk about your friend's romantic partner, or a romantic scene on television. Talk about how men before would sweep women off their feet for being romantic- and not just macho. This will give him an idea about how you want him to be more romantic.

2. Tell your partner. People aren't mind readers, and when it comes to picking up signals; men are just the slowest. When you can't get your message through your hints and actions; then tell him what's going about in your mind. Turn it into an open conversation instead of being too direct and upfront. Ask him on what you can do to make him feel more appreciated, loved and wanted; he'll get the drift.

3. Set an example for him. If you want to be treated the same way, you have to set an example yourself. If you want your partner to be more romantic then be more romantic yourself. Show him how it is done. He will be more inspired to show you his acts of romance and reciprocate your actions.

4. Treat your partner well. Get to compliment and admire them once in a while. Tell your partner how happy and pleased you are with them. When they make a romantic gesture then compliment them. Do not overdo it though or they'll mistake it for something else. Be genuine with your feelings and your praise.

5. Praise their efforts. If a person is not really born to be a romantic, it's already a challenge for them. Remember that men and women have different ideas about romance. When your partner acts on his own, don't be negative and criticise him. Don't make your partner feel down or shun their efforts. Rather, you should be happy that they made an effort. This will be your starting point for a better and romantic future with your partner.

Romance is never about gifts, flowers or expensive dinners. It's showing how much you care and love your partner by giving them time and spending it together.
