Tim Cook, Apple Boss Rejects $75m Payout

Tim Cook, the boss of Apple has given his rejection to a payout that is worth 75 million dollars that is 48 million pounds. This giant in the field of technology is going to pay a dividend of 2.65 dollars per share in 3 months from the month of July. This has happened for the first time that Apple has given a declaration of its dividend after the year 1995.

However, according to a regulatory filling along with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Cook is not going to take his own dividends. Recently in a newspapers, there was a report that he was one of the best-paid boss in the United states Of America with a salary that is more than 300 million dollars.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Cook earned around 378 million dollars in the year 2011 which was more than any thing else even more than the grant of one million shares that was awarded.

The base of his salary is 900,000 dollars while his predecessor, Steve Jobs, who is no more now received an annual salary of 1 million dollars. Jonathan Ive, the lead designer of Apple, was knighted just a few weeks back. He is the one who has given his designs in the various iconic products of the brands such as Apple's iPod, iPhone as well as iPad which also means that he is very much attached top the company.

After the demise of Jobs, the co-founder as well as figurehead of Apple, there has been talks that the company is struggling hard to maintain its place as well as its reputation, in order to come out with amazing products and become a mark of what top talent of all.
