You can watch drag boats, hydroplanes, and tunnel hulls in thrilling racing competition. The event also includes concerts and fireworks as well as good food.

Grape Day Parade and Festival

Marching bands, classic cars, LIVE music; the Grape Day Parade and Festival is all about this much more. It is going to take place on the Saturday after Labor Day i.e. on 8th September, 2012 in Downtown Escondido. The parade will begin from Grand Avenue from Escondido Blvd to Juniper Street

The procession commences at 9:30am and the parade features equestrians, walking groups, classic cars and lots more. Along the route, you can enjoy delicious food at the local cafes, shops, and restaurants. Besides there will be a fun zone for kids. Children can also participate in gunny sack races.

Enjoy the parade, good food and not to mention the grape stomping. Best part is it is a free festival. Bring your family and have a day full of fun.

With so many interesting things happening in the city, it is better to stay in San Diego lodging from where you can quickly reach the venue of the event. The city offers plenty of San Diego hotels matching all pockets.
