A good tip is to instead of eating 3 big meals a day, eat 5 smaller meals a day. This gives your body a constant supply of food so that is does not have to store much fat.

Another tip is to exercise more often. Their is are two fold benefit to exercise. The first and most obvious is that exercise burns calories when you do it. The second is that it increases your metabolic rate which is the reason for you burning calories when you exercise. Now your metabolic rate does not just drop back down to the rate it was before you started exercising. It slow decreases in accordance to what you are doing. This means that when you go about your daily routine like washing dishes, hovering and taking the rubbish out you are burning more fat because you exercised that day.

Another good tip to lose weight after pregnancy is to get plenty of rest. Your are a new mom so you will be getting use to all the things that come with motherhood. Like night time feeds, changing nappies and all your babies needs. So the most important tip is to rest. If your baby has an irregular sleeping pattern then you should go to sleep when your baby does other wise you might not get any sleep at all.
