subject: Dating Tips For Divorced Men - Dating After A Divorce Does Not Have To Be Hard At All [print this page]

Conventional thought seems to lean towards the idea that dating after a divorce is somehow going to be much harder than it was when you were single before you were married, but it really does not have to be that way. If you think about it, you are probably much more clear on what you like and what you want and that means that you are going to waste less time trying to pursue women that don't fit your criteria. So, in that regard, you are going to be a little bit wiser than you were before, and that can be a good thing.

If you feel like it is hard to date after being divorced, here are some tips that are going to make things seem a bit less difficult for you:

1) Whatever you do, don't get hung up on the idea that being divorced is going to be a turn off to most women.

Yes, there are probably some women who won't like the idea of dating a guy who has gone through a divorce, but that does not mean that all women are going to be that way. There are plenty out there that are going to totally understand that you can try your best in a relationship and things are not going to work out. And you might also find that some women are actually happy to know that you are at least the kind of guy who can be in a committed relationship even if things did not work out for you.

2) Knowing how to successfully approach women is going to be one of the things that makes things easier for you.

When you have total confidence in yourself about being able to approach a woman that you like, dating seems to be a lot easier. You'll feel like you have a lot more opportunities to meet women and that is definitely going to be the way that you want to feel when it comes to dating again.

3) You can't talk to women you have just met about your past relationship issues.

It may be okay to briefly touch on the fact that you were married and that the marriage came to an end, but you certainly don't want to dwell on that subject. If you do, you might get her to feel some pity for you, but she is probably not going to feel attracted to you and she may feel like you are not really ready to be dating again.
