By offering free newsletters that have content geared towards online home based businesses- you can tap directly into the market you're pursuing. It takes awhile to build a relationship with readers this way, but can pay off big-time long-term. Work at promoting yourself on your own website or blog using different online advertising techniques.

By creating a professional website you show people that you are someone they will want to work with. It doesn't have to have all the bells and whistles but needs to look professional with great content.

You will need to learn how to keep it ranked high with Google or Yahoo Search. Google is the benchmark. Aim for a page one ranking, but at least on the first three pages as most people do not like to search through a lot of pages.

If you can stay on the first page of search engines you increase your odds of leads tremendously. Use a good key word program such as Google Adwords or Wordtracker. And the more you update your content the better.

Utilize Social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter or even MyPage. Make use of social media sites for generating leads is free and are great sources of connecting people. You can reach out to thousands of prospects this way.
