subject: 10 Checklists Of Your Wedding Gown Shopping [print this page] Days ago, I get a call from one of my friend, one of here friend just order an wedding dress from XXX.com online, they copy Vera Wang's picture, and said that they can do the design and make the same dress for her! And that was not the worst but she ordered one wedding dress from them with just 400 USD! Bride X was almost inconsolable as the dress didn't suit her and was very badly fitting.
Here are 10 checklists for bridal when you order an wedding dress!
1.Try to figure out if the shop and their tailor are professional and they have enough technical knowledge and a back up fitting service for their client.
2.Order a wedding gown from a shop which will be honest and let you know if the dress really suits you.
3.The most important thing on your side is the measurement - The wedding dress will be a money and timely costly fail if they don't fit your body even if it come from the best designer!
4.Don't let bad temper and skinny models put you off a wedding gown you love.
5.Follow your heart! Trust your own feeling and your own judgment, find your really favourite.
6.Take a clear picture with a good camera so you can remember clearly - if not, go back to the shop and try it on again.
7.If you can't remember a dress - is it memorable enough?
8.Don't judge a dress by it's price - the most beautiful and best design picture all this need money! so follow your heart!
9.Bad pictures are just that - endless searching the internet for pictures will throw out images of brides whose styling you don't love in a dress you do.
10.Dress pictures are targeted at their biggest regional market.
All this reasons make me more sure about that do not take pictures in the shop. I am met very often with outright rudeness and hostility when I ask people to refrain from taking photos. I am not trying to hide anything, conceal a dress's name or designer or lock you into buying a frock from Miss Bush. I just try to preserve the bride's mental pictures and their feelings that she had for a wedding gown and to prevent a bridal from taking away a bad quality picture of a possibly ill fitting shop sample.
YesMyBride would like to listen more about your checklist!
