And this alone makes you feel isolated in your feelings and like a unsuccessful person for not recover from it earlier.
Everyone heals at his or her own pace. Six months may feel like ages to one individual, but for you, the wounds are still clean and the scars still severe. And it does not matter if you never been in a 'boyfriend or girlfriend relationship' because physically and emotionally, the bond between you two was strong and your love and emotions ran very precious. You are not a loser. You are a powerful individual. Realise that, accept that.
