subject: What Do You Need To Plan For When Arranging A Wedding? [print this page]

Planning a wedding is something everyone hopes they will only need to do the one time, which means that if you have started on your wedding plans and preparations you probably haven't a clue that you are supposed to be doing. There are likely to be many different things that you won't have even thought about doing for your wedding, but if you want it all to work perfectly and to come together well, you will need to cover everything.

The very first thing that you will need to do on your road to wedding planning is to figure out exactly how much money you have to spend. You won't be able to start planning anything if you don't know how much you can spend on individual items, as you may end up blowing your budget by accident on a single item. The next thing to consider will be when you will be having your wedding - set a firm date and work outwards from there.

If you haven't already chosen the ideal wedding rings for you and your partner, now will be the time to get started on this important choice. These will be the rings that you will, hopefully, wear for the rest of your life, so it is vital that you choose ones which suit the both of you. While they don't need to be matching, it can be nice if they are, so consider this when buying them. You should never overspend on your wedding rings either, so even if you have seen ones which look to be absolutely perfect, unless they are within your price range you should simply walk away.

Choosing a venue should be the next important job on your list. You will probably need to look at a few different venue options before you find the right one, and don't forget that unless you go for a wedding hotel that can offer both the reception and the ceremony, you will need to find two separate venues.

Once you have booked your venue or venues you will then need to send out your invitations. You can choose from a range of different invitations to get the ideal ones for your wedding, and you could choose to personalise them if it would suit your wedding better. For something a little different, why not consider sending out save the date magnets instead of traditional wedding invitations?
