Siwana Fort Travel

Located on the way from Jodhpur to Barmer, the temple is perched atop a hill at a height of about 1500 ft. As the name suggests, Parshwanath Temple is dedicated to the Jain saint, Parshwanath and is home to a statue of the saint. The statue is made of black stone. Tour of Kiradu Ancient Temples

Another religious highlight of a Barmer tour is to visit the Kiradu Ancient Temple. Located in Hathma village, its a cluster of five old temples. As per an inscription dating back to 1161 A.D., Hathma used to be the Panwara dynastys capital and was called Kiratkoop. Amongst the five temples, the Someshwara Temple is the largest. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and was built in the 11th Century. Besides Shiva, there are sculptures of various other divinities from the Hindu mythology.
