subject: Know The Two Main Types Of People Who Are Into Buying Teapots [print this page]

You can easily classify the people who are highly interested in buying teapots into two major groups. Every marketer of teapots should know who these people are. After all, they are the target market. This is our chance to acquaint ourselves with this person and, in the process, find out the philosophy behind their teapot purchasing habits. If you are in the business of selling teapots, you will find this type of information to be highly useful indeed. The information gathered could also prove to be useful in both the technical and creative process of manufacturing the teapots.

The first group of people who have a high interest in the procurement of teapots is composed of household managers. These are people who buy the said utensils with the objective of using them in the domestic setting. A teapot is something that one would normally find in a typical western household. In this context, a household manager is any person who makes decisions on how the household is to be managed. A household manager is often the home's breadwinner. Sometimes, the household manager may delegate the task of buying a teapot to someone else within the household. Often, they would assign the tasks to their children, another member of their family who happen to live in the same house, or a domestic helper, if any.

The decision to buy a teapot for domestic use is usually motivated by several factors. In some cases, it is motivated by the desire to make a household complete (utensils-wise). There are simply some people who feel a sense of incompleteness if their household is without a teapot. People also buy their teapots purely for utilitarian reasons; they need them. Maybe their old teapot finally succumbed to wear and tear, or the one they have is no longer enough to cater to the needs of everyone in the household.

The second group of people who tend to show interest in buying teapots is that of hospitality industry actors. The teapots are needed by these people for business purposes, so we are looking at hoteliers, restaurateurs, coffee shop and bar owners, and the like. These types of businesses could not possibly thrive and flourish without a teapot. Replacement of teapots would become necessary if the business is growing at a fast pace or time has taken its toll and rendered it already obsolete or non-performing.

Worth noting is the fact that the sorts of teapots used in domestic settings tend to be quite different (in terms of size, design and other features), from those that are used in business. It is also interesting to note that a business manager shopping for a teapot for his business would adapt a different shopping style from that of a household manager who is simply looking for a teapot to be used in his or her home.
