Vacation destinations don't get much better than the world famous Sunshine Coast, it has the tropics, sun and sand that everyone wants. And in addition to this there is some unbelievable shopping.

You can find every kind of apparel, crafts, foods and novelties in the many and varied markets on the Sunshine Coast. Some of them have hours that are a little different so be sure to check to see if they're open before you go. These markets serve both residents and natives of the area and are sure to please everyone.

The following are some of the unique markets to visit while in the Sunshine Coast: Eumundi Market - Open on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 8am to 1:30pm, The Eumundi Market is the largest marketplace on the Sunshine Coast. At about 10,000 visitors per day, you will find that this market offers a fun atmosphere and a wide variety of art work, crafts, and produce in over 300 booths. There are some unique street performers as well that add to the overall fun loving experience of this marketplace.

The Cooroy Community Market has wonderful deals on crafts and apparel items, but they're only open on Thursdays 8am until 130pm. Another market open only on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays is the Cooran Foo Market right next to Pioneer Park, the children can play there while you shop. It offers lots of jewelry, arts and crafts, homemade foods and fresh produce are available along with live music.

Caloundra Country & Farmers Market - This market is located on Arthur Street and is open on Sunday mornings from 7am - noon and features fresh fruits, seafood, as well as hand stitched clothing, books and collectibles and much more. Come and experience the sights, sounds and tastes of the region at this quaint market .
