subject: Mobile Dentist Offering Single-visit Crowns And Restorations [print this page]

MOBILE, AL-Dr. Nicholas Southall, dentist in Mobile, is excited to be using CAD/CAM technology to provide quick and effective crowns to his patients. By using CAD/CAM to create crowns, Dr. Southall saves time for his patients and increases convenience.

"I am glad that our practice is now offering single visit crowns. We are always striving to make our practice more patient-friendly and this is a great example of that. I look forward to treating many of our patients in the future with single-visit crowns," said Dr. Southall, Mobile, AL dentist.

In the past, receiving a crown was a more drawn-out process. During the first appointment, the dentist would reduce the affected tooth and take an impression of the area, which would then be sent to a dental lab. After about two to three weeks of wearing a temporary crown, the dentist would then attach the permanent crown once it arrives from the dental lab.

By using CAD/CAM for crowns, the Mobile cosmetic dentist is able to take a digital impression of the area in order to create a digital 3-D model of the restoration. The digital model will then be used to create the crown on-site in Dr. Southall's office.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Southall for dentures in Mobile or another dental service, patients can either call (251) 666-5113 or use the online appointment request form.
