subject: Improve Weight Loss With A Good Detox [print this page]

What is the connection between weight loss and detoxification? When your body is in a toxic state, it is not functioning at its best. Your digestion, liver, kidneys and cells are all under active.

In this state which is obviously not a healthy state, you now impose a diet on this poor suffering body. Your body does not react well, it sees the diet as just another threat to its well being and your body goes into slow down, protective starvation mode.

It is certainly not going to give up any of those important fat reserves. It will however all too easily give up fluids, leading to dehydration and also muscle mass.

Loss of muscle mass is a disaster, it may seem you are losing weight according to the scales, but it really is just delusion.

You need muscle mass to drive metabolic processes such as glucose regulation and fat burning. Typically if you lose muscle it is quickly replaced with fat. You may only bounce back to your pre-diet weight, but now you have less muscle and more fat, you are in fact fatter and less healthy than before the diet.

That's the bad news. You can solve this problem.

Firstly as you begin your diet, that is cutting out as much fat and junky food as possible, and not! Starting on the diet foods and drinks, you must start the detox process.

You start in the gut, using herbs which will clean out parasites and bacteria, such as wormwood & black walnut and taking some colostrum to flush this rubbish from your system.

Next you support the digestion with aloe Vera juice, glutamine at least 2000mg per day to repair your gut. Plus a good acidophilus powder to restore the good bacteria.

Then you do a liver cleanse.

Now your body is working much more efficiently, your liver is processing fats better, you are digesting and absorbing nutrients and you are excreting waste much better.

Don't forget plenty of water. Plus good protein, either as meat or a quality powder, to prevent muscle loss.

Weight loss without detoxification is not very successful. A clean gut and liver, with good clean food, i.e. plenty of fruit, veg and quality meat, lots of water, and a good daily exercise programme, is your successful weight loss programme.

Take your time with any detox process and support it with a good anti oxidant formula, to reduce the free radicals produced as your fatty tissue gives up its toxic burden.
