Located in the Atlantic Ocean, Bahamas is a country consisting of about 29 islands and many islets, with a total land area of about 5,382 square miles. Nassau is the capital of Bahamas. About 16Km west of the city of Nassau is the Lynden Pindling International Airport. This airport is one of the major airports of Bahamas, several flights fly daily from this airport to many countries like the United Kingdom, United States, Caribbean and Canada, this airport also serves for most of the flights to Bahamas.

Festivals in any part of the world are considered the most entertaining events this city's major festival is known as Junkanoo, it is the most energetic and spectacular festival in the Bahamas with bright and colorfully costumed people dancing to the rhythmic music of cow bells, flutes, whistles and drums. This festival is celebrated in the end of December. Several locations of this city Nassau have been used in Bond series movies like "Never say never again", "Thunderball", "For your eyes only" and "Casino Royale". Capital of Bahamas also hosted the 2004 world's strongest man competition.

Cable beach area of the city is famous for dining and classic hotels, most of the restaurants are within the hotels and some can be found across the street, offering a variety of cuisines from many parts of the world. The Crystal Palace Casino is also another great attraction for the visitors of this city.
