The next attraction is actually one of the main attractions in Spain, the Nerja caves. The Nerja caves are a series of caverns that stretch about 5km; one of the chambers is actually a regular venue for holding concerts as it forms a natural amphitheater.
There are thirteen kilometers worth of beaches in Nerja, including the world re-known Playa Burriana which has been awarded the Blue Flag by the European Union on several occasions. Although the sand of Burriana beach is coarser than the usual fine sand one can find in other beaches, the view is simply breath taking and people actually pay to sit and enjoy the view in certain fenced parts of this beautiful beach.
