Entrepreneurs are not a separate class/species of people. People who have the passion and courage, people who are willing to take risk at the expense of their self confidence and self belief can become a very successful entrepreneurs. Entrepreneur must have commitment to people and society.
In the evolution of all the life forms on earth, man is only the species who is born with business approach in life. The business approach could be business of emotion, business of money or business of care and help. Seeing business possibility everywhere and thinking about the future with vision are the two key aspects of human with which he was approaching the world.
Man, from the prehistoric period, transforming from Homo erectus to Homo sapiens, started thinking of tomorrow from living for today. The thought of tomorrow started manifesting in the form of mine', my future', my family' and how to multiply my effort' & my resources' of today to several folds in future.
Farming and agriculture were the earliest activity man was engaged in. Even the earliest man realized how to maximize the yield, how to select the best seed for agriculture, how to limit the effort and strike great yield, how to make animals to toil for him, how to use other resources around him, how to predict success possibility etc. While conducting such business, early man was also concerned about the health and welfare of his agriculture, farm animals and other resources.
Every entrepreneur must have high level of aspiration & energy to achieve their goal and knows to use and take of care the resources. The pre-man had the aspirations and hence he started cultivating the agriculture, invented different ways to enhance the yield, and used the resources of farm animals by domesticating them. He made sure that all the farm and domestic animals were well taken care and gave them safe and secured living condition. The health of the farm animals become an area of his concern purely with an eye on his business interest, which is exactly similar to the luxury provided to the employees by the corporate.
Man need not excavate or discover the hidden entrepreneur in him, he was born or evolved through natural selection as an entrepreneur, said Dr S Ranganathan, Director of ClinRise Derma Pvt., Ltd., Chennai during a discussion on how to discover an entrepreneur' held at Delhi.
