Women's Fall Fashion Trends

At the risk of sounding like a washed-up '80s standup comedian: men are different from women, because we don't know our bodies. Most ladies are more than happy, often to the point of annoyance, to admit their ass is too large for a pair of jeans or their breasts too small for a shirt. Unfortunately, no one cares about what is being worn so a skintight shirt from 10 years ago suffices or one may try to update the wardrobe with whatever is in fashion.

While any attempt at shopping is noble and should be applauded, not all new trends work for every body type. Just because while lifting weights and jogging every third day doesn't mean being ready for the skinny jeans. They might be in style, but wearing them with a serious beer gut will only make one appear more clueless and unattractive. In fashion, there's no such thing as an A for effort.

Since Fall is the time for everyone to exchange their swimsuits and flip-flops for the newest trends here is an easy to follow guide for what to wear. Look in the mirror and be honest, it will save face later.

The little black dress and architectually sculpted clothes with dramatic collars and bold shoulders, are just some of the major looks for the fall winter season. However, there are many more striking designs to stimulate the appetite and to get the wardrobe ready for fall.

Plaids and tartans are everywhere this season from suits to coats to dresses to blouses, which go towards the sophisticated country girl look. Argyle sweaters, tartan jackets and skirts, and plaid wide-legged trousers and pants suits, offer a touch of the-great-outdoors style. Designer Ralph Lauren's fall collections features both masuline pantsuits and plenty of plaid, in outerwear, blouses and dresses. Dolce and Gabbana's runway collection has taken inspiration from British royalty, mixing tartan aristocracy-dressing with a Balmoral country look. Most ladies are more than happy, often to the point of annoyance, to admit their ass is too large for a pair of jeans or their breasts too small for a shirt.
