Kaepernick Plans To Workout with Miami Dolphins in 2011 NFL Draft

The Miami Dolphins has been planning to be go with former University of Nevada quarterback Colin Kaepernick in a private workout. He was finished his college football career at the University of Nevada in the 2011 Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl.

Currently, Miami Dolphins are one of nine NFL teams to visit Kaepernick for the 2011 NFL draft, he also met 14 NFL teams in February at NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. San Francisco 49ers team is also working him out for this NFL season. The 23 years old Kaepernick capped his college career with a Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl victory over the Boston College. Kaepernick started his four seasons with University of Nevada, completing his college NFL career with 10,098 passing yards and 82 touchdowns. The 23 year old Kaepernick also rushed down for an 4,112 yards and 59 touchdowns and he also became the first player in the Division I NFL history to be top, he also scored 10,000 passing yards and 4,000 rushing yards. Kaepernick is the only quarterback to have passed over 2,000 yards and rushed over the 1,000 yards in a single NFL season for three times in his career. Kaepernick is one of the first quarterbacks following with two big names are Auburn University quarterback Cam Newton and University of Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert.

The Miami Dolphins to be expected to trade in the first round of 15th overall selection to take along with Ryan Mallett from Arkansas, Jake Locker from Washington, Christian Ponder from Florida state and Andy Dalton from Texas Christian University. Kaepernick is having higher throwing velocity than any quarterback at a field, he has impressed very much in the pre draft period with his blend of size, ability and athleticism. Kaepernick had joined the Florida's Tim Tebow as the second quarterback in the FBS history to throw for 20 touchdowns and run for 20 passing yards in the last NFL season. Later, in the same evening Auburn's quarterback Cam Newton had joined with Tim Tebow and Kaepernick as the third quarterback. He is also the most Visible Player in the Humanitarian Bowl MVP in the 2008.
