HCG Dieting Information

The hCG dietinvolves using the a naturally occurring hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin to promote weight loss. This hormone occurs in both men and women but is produced in largest quantities by the placenta when a woman is pregnant. The diet makes use of a synthetic form of liquid hCG that is also used in some fertility treatments; however the amount used for the diet a much smaller dose than is used in the fertility treatments. For more information, consult a medical professional or go to one of the reliable websites explaining the diet. Those who have had success with the hCG diet planhave reported weight loss of up to two pounds a day. As with any diet, there are a large number of factors for each individual that will alter the amount of possible weight loss. Common factors include the health, diet, and exercise habits of the individual. It is important to understand that results will vary and that you should consult your health care provider before starting any new diet or exercise program.

As with most diets, it is very important to increase your fiber and water intake. It is a good idea to see your health care provider to have blood tests and a health examination performed prior to starting this program. As stated before, each individual is different; therefore you may have different needs to consider before you begin yourand injections are designed to help your hypothalamus rid fat from different storage locations within your body. The hCG diet requires a 500 calorie diet to balance the amount of calories that are used by the hypothalamus in this process.

There are two versions of this diet. One version was written by Dr. A.T.W. Simeons in the manuscript "Pounds and Inches: A New Approach to Obesity." The other version of the program was written by Kevin Trudeau in his article "The Weight Loss Cure They' Don't Want You To Know About." Both versions have certain foods and that are recommended and include three separate diet phases. The first two phases include a very strict low calorie diet that consists of daily hCG injections or daily oral hCG drops. Once this phase of the diet is completed, the individual moves on to a maintenance phase before starting over if necessary. This is done until the individual has lost the desired amount of weight. The Kevin Trudeau version is based on that of Dr. Simeonsbut attempts to update it for modern dieters. These updates include an increase in the amount of human chorionic gonadotropin that is administered, the addition of colonics and supplements, and the addition of body cleanses.
