The Standard American Diet Is Really (SAD)

Make a list of the factors that incrementally increase the risk of heart disease, cancer, stroke, diabetes, or almost any other disease or illness you can think of and the Standard American Diet (SAD) will be responsible for most of them. The American diet consists of mainly the following:

Animal Fats

Saturated, hydrogenated fats

Very low fiber content

Processed food

Chemical additives

a low amount of plant-based foods

a diet low in complex carbohydrates

We are a society that can afford to eat the healthiest disease preventing foods on planet earth and yet we continue to make the most unfavorable health choices imaginable.

Whenever a society that is poor eats a diet that consists of mostly plants, (because that's all that they can afford) high in complex carbohydrates and fiber, that society will invariably have a strikingly low incidence of cancer and coronary heart disease.

Incontrast,Americans have spent more money on cancer research than any other developed country, nevertheless we have bought ourselves the highest rates of cancer and other dread diseases than any other nation on the globe. Our multiplied billions of dollars for research have gone down the proverbial toilet.

Vegetarians Live And Thrive Longer

Compared to the meat eating population, vegetarians for the most part live longer, have more energy, suffer fewer incidences of obesity, cancer, and stroke than any people group in the world. If you are not aware of the truth of the last statement, you should study it out as though your life depended on it because it certainly does. If you are still too stubborn or just refuse to acknowledge these facts then you should feel very justified in giving your family's life savings toward your upcoming triple by-pass surgery.

Innocent Animals Pay The Price For Your Foolish Nutrition Choices
