If you want to cover most of your arms, you can wear a sleeve summer dress. Choose one that is not too thick and that has sheer material which will cause the breeze to flow through so that you don't get too hot and sweat out in the summer heat. If you want to cover the thighs, you won't want to be going with mini summer dresses, but a dress that is right around knee length, calf length, or longer.

If you want to show off your legs, then a nice mini would fit you! Not too short of course, as you don't want to draw the wrong kind of attention your way. All woman's that have rather larger rear ends and thighs should not wear short sundresses because the dress will appear a lot shorter than what it really is, and it will draw up as you walk making it even shorter, which can cause areas of your body to be revealed that you did not intend to be revealed! So, that why in this matter, you should always try women's dresses on in the fitting room even if you're sure it fits, before you purchase one. This will save you time from returning them back to the store.
