I weighed 240lbs 3 months ago and was diagnosed with high blood pressure. And I was told that if I didn't do something about my weight and diet, diabetes is next on the list. Indeed, I was devastated by the news because I have a lovely wife and 3 beautiful kids at home. But the diagnosis made me realized how much I loved my wife and 3 kids and how important a healthy lifestyle is.
So I embarked on a weight loss journey. I started reading day and night about nutrition, exercise, diet plans and such but soon, I was overwhelmed by the amount of diet plans available. Attempting to find out how many carbs to eat per day to lose weight was literally a nightmare.
And like everyone else, I just didn't know how little or how many carbs to eat per day to lose weight even after reading and watching many books and videos. I followed a strict diet but I was starving myself. I hit the gym for many hours everyday but I was stressing myself. I constantly felt exhausted and weak from so much exercise and so little food. Although these tips were helpful, I was fortunate enough to have discovered a book that literally allowed me to achieve what I have achieved today (ironically my friends thought I was suffering from diabetes!). Not only were all of these tips included in the book, but more sensible tips to sustain weight loss were also included!
