5 Exercises Every Woman Should Do
5 Exercises Every Woman Should Do

In this article I want to talk about 5 exercises which I believe that women should do during their workouts to tone their body and burn lots of fat.

1. Bridge - An excellent exercise for lifting your butt. To do a bridge you need to lie on the floor with both legs bent. Your feet should be on the ground along with your back and head.

Raise your lower back and buttocks as far as they can and squeeze your glutes hard. Hold and lower your butt to the floor. Immediately raise it again, and repeat.

2. Wall sits - This is an excellent static exercise I got from the Flavilicious Fitness program. What you do in this exercise is place your back firmly against a wall, bend both knees until they're at a 90 degree angle and simply hold that position.

Make sure your shoulder blades are firmly against the wall. You can hold a dumbbell against your chest for added intensity. This is a tough exercise so if you can hold this position for a minute, you're in pretty good shape.

3. Push ups - Yes, this exercise is not for men only. Women can benefit a lot from it, especially if you want to tone those triceps. I believe that with a little trainiing you can do push-ups just as men do. However, if you're not fit enough at the moment, simply do push-ups while on your knees.

4. Tricep dips - The triceps are on of those body parts that women most complain about. Dips are one of the best exercises you can do to work on your triceps, make them toned and tight. In many gyms you can find a fitness machine which lets you do assisted tricep dips. This means that you don't have to lift your entire body weight on each rep and can do more each set.

5. Plank - To tone your abs andstrengthen your core, the plank is an awesome exercise. All you need to do is to hold your body straight and steady while resting on tip toes and your forearms. Your abs will be working the whole time.
