Everyone likes to make an impression at Halloween and sometimes it seems to be more of a challenge with every passing year. So, how about a few tips for some vampire costume ideas that should hopefully inspire you to great things really easily?
1. Let your mouse do the hard work. You really do not have to drag yourself or your kids around shops and malls to find the perfect outfit. There are some absolutely superb vampire costume ideas all available at a few clicks of your mouse. So, no tired, disappointed, bored and frustrated people. You can sit and enjoy a coffee at home whilst browsing at leisure.
2. Take advantage of somebody elses creative skills. It is really hard to rustle up the perfect outfit if you are not creatively minded. So, I cannot see the problem with buying a quality costume to make an impact. I mean the evil Count Dracula is renowned for his flowing cloak with deep red or purple lining, now how many of us can wrestle with that much black fabric and turn it into something fit for a gentleman to wear?
3. To take on your chosen persona, let the clothes really do it for you. Of course, you are going to have to look a little more pale than usual. So, some face paint or make up is going to help but, putting on a sumptuous, rich coloured waistcoat with a dress shirt and cravat is going to speak volumes. With the previously mentioned cloak and the addition of a cane, you are going to ooze charisma and mystery for sure.
4. Consider using Halloween costume wigs. It is going to be pretty difficult to recreate that perfectly slicked back head of hair with the V at the forehead or, if you are a lady vampire then some beautiful Victorian ringlets or long, sleek, straight black locks should pretty much ensure a wonderful finishing touch to your over all look.
5. Get yourself a decent set of teeth. Ok, so it might seem a little obvious what would a vampire be without them? But, it is the little things that just add to the effect and with a set of vampire fangs and maybe some fake blood to complete your look you will be in for an evening of blood thirsty fun for sure.
Of course, there are any number of vampire costume ideas that you could use and whether dark, gothic and sinister or funny, comical and just plain mad, it is all about having fun for the evening. My own special tip is to get the family dog dressed up in his own Count Dracula costume and you know that he will bring his own set of teeth, no problems.
Can you imagine the shocked looks you would get from people if they saw you dressed up and looking like a real Vampire that had just been transported through time.
