subject: Used Suzuki SX4 London [print this page] Used Suzuki SX4 London Used Suzuki SX4 London
The SX4 is a compact car designed and manufactured by Suzuki; it was introduced in 2006 to replace the Liana famous for being the "reasonably priced car" on the TV show Top Gear. The Suzuki SX4 is also sold as the Sedici by Fiat.
For the European market the SX4 is available with 2 engine choices, the 1.6 Petrol and a 2.0 Diesel. The 1.6 engine is pretty nippy and likes to be thrashed. The 2.0 diesel is very economical and slightly easier to drive as it doesn't need as much thrashing to get it going. Although the SX4 is in essence a mini crossover it feels more like a small family car, it handles well with no unexpected surprises, even with its height it shows great body control. The ride feels a little harsh at times but it's not harsh enough to make a fuss about.
As is expected from mini crossovers the build quality is excellent, traditionally Suzuki were known for tatty interiors and poor build quality, none of that is evident in the SX4. Inside the cabin all exterior noise is blocked out with only very little wind noise.
Due to its size, price and Suzuki's new found build quality a used Suzuki SX4 in London has become very popular. It will be interesting to see the next models produced by Suzuki and see if they can maintain the good work demonstrated in the SX4.
