Bad news is that working at home is not as easy as people say. It's not that hard either, but you must meet some "requirements" to get there or it's easy to get lost.

1) Ambition
What do you expect to be doing when your online business finally work out?
If you're not expecting too much, you'd better raise your expectations a little bit. That's because people usually don't work as hard as they could on something they don't expect good things from.
Set a realistic, challenging goal and work to get - and you will!
2) Ability to Follow Directions
Don't try to do it all by yourself. You can do the work by yourself if you want, but don't try to just guess how to do it and then start moving towards a random direction.
There's a lot of people teaching and guiding new talents in this area, and some of them are real experts. Take your time looking for them and picking the one you trust the most.
And learn. And follow his or her directions, using also your own special ingredients to success.
3) Simple Typing Skills
You don't need to write like Tolkien or Shakespeare, but you do have to be able to write some paragraphs. That's because you'll need to communicate with your customers either through your website or any other way you use.
Good news is that you'll most likely start enjoying writing after doing it for some time, even if you hate it in the very beginning.
4) Persistence
It's just not enough trying once and quitting if it doesn't work. Unless you learn from the best and get the right tools, you most likely won't succeed with your first trial.
Well, I honestly hope you do, and that's why I'm taking time to write this, but don't give up if you don't. Learn from your mistakes and keep trying and doing your best.
You'll eventually find out you know about the subject more than most people and start getting results.
5) Self-Confidence
This is all about doing something new to yourself and to most people around you.
If you have no confidence you're doing the right thing and if you're not willing to do your best because you don't know if it's going to work, then... well, you're probably right.
You can do it if you have positive attitude, moving forward with confidence and hard work.
Don't worry if you lack some of those attributes. Work hard to improve, and you'll succeed for sure.
