New Trucks- 2011 Best Rated SUV's

When today's consumer is looking to purchase a new SUV, there are many amazing choices to consider. With a huge varietyof new trucks on the market right now, there are significant new trucks to talk about. Here is some of the most notable model changes for 2011, there are some exciting machines to talk about.

After a quick leave of absence, Dodge brought its once popular Durango back in style with a much more upscale interior and dynamic exterior than its predecessor. It's an all new vehicleand Dodges first step in their quest to rebrand their "lost dinosaurs"including the Jeep Cherokee which has been revamped and remodeled as well. The Durango has a fully independent suspension along with a unibody construction derived from the Mercedes Benz MClass, making it one of the sought after new trucks. It will go on sale before January 1st 2011, and the fuel economy figures and specifications are rumored to surprisingly good.

For ten years BMW has put the "sport" in "sport utility" since they introduced their ever evolving, groundbreaking X5. New for the 2011 model year, BMW has made subtle styling updates to go with a brand new turbocharged inline-six and V-8 gasoline engines comforted by eight-speed automatic transmissions. The hood and grill haven't changed, but the plastic front fenders now meet a full width. The new headlamps now feature LED rings (angel eyes") and the fog are higher and inboard. The most exciting change in the X5 is the new turbocharged engines. Take for example the 4.4-liter V-8 in the new xDrive50iwhich pumps out 400 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque, as opposed to the much slower xDrive48i it replaced. If BWM wanted to top its competitors in the new trucks division, they have certainly made their presence known with 2011 BMW X5.

Porsche has just introduced one of the most unique new trucks in today's SUV category in the 2011 Porsche Cayenne. The exterior of the all new Cayenne is nothing short of extraordinary, with crisp lines flowing throughout the truck. The performance has been boosted in every engine class and they have even made a Cayenne S Hybrid. It's derived from Audis supercharged 3.0-liter V6 and kicks out an impressive 333-horsepower while connected to a three phase electric motor and receives power from a 38 KW NiMH battery. The Cayenne Hybrid is the most fuel friendly in its product line, achieving 23.7 mpg.

As you can see there are different directions today's consumer can go when choosing a vehicle. With both major and some minor changes made to outdated trucks. Today's manufactures have almost fooled us in thinking they're putting outnew trucks.
