Anabolic Cooking Review - How To Plan a Diet

Anabolic Cooking

A key to any routine lies in the combination of both diet and exercise. One without the other will not be as effective as the combination of both. The mistake many people often make is exercising without a proper diet. Whether building mass or cutting fat, the diet is one of the most important factors.

When your aim is to lose fat, the best diet will consist of high protein and low carbohydrate. This is not to say cut out carbs completely, this would in fact be very bad. Carbs are used by the body as fast burning energy; the body relies off these molecules. Cutting out carbs completely would leave you very tired, and your exercise routine would most likely fail as well. Consuming good complex carbs such as fruits and vegetables are neccessary. Consuming whole wheat bread in moderation is also good. One while cutting would want to aim for around 40 to 50 grams of good complex or whole grain carbs per day.

While carbs are very important, the most important part of any diet is protein. Any diet must be high in protein to be successful, and a lack of protein will limit mucsle growth. Even when losing fat, muscle is incredibly important. Muscle is the furnace of the body, the more you have, the more fat you burn. A good goal is 1 gram of protein per pound of body mass.

Cooking often becomes a hassle with a healthy diet, but there are many cookbooks out there to assist you. My favorite is Anabolic Cooking. It provides recipes for weight loss and building muscle. I would recommend it to anyone with any routine.
